Mangalore, Dec 21: ‘Rani Abbakka Drishti-Srishti’, a national level painting camp, and ‘Rani Abbakka Art Gallery’ inaugural, will be held at Rani Abbakka Tulu Study Centre and ‘Tulu Baduku’ museum at Sanchayanagiri in B C Road here between December 24 and 28.

“The national painting camp will be based on the life and achievements of Rani Abbakka। This will be a milestone in the history of Tulunadu,” said Prof Tukaram Poojary, addressing a press conference here on Tuesday December 20.

He informed that important events in the life of Abbakka will come to life through the brushes of 24 artists of national stature at the camp. "These creations will be priceless gifts for the litterateurs, artistes, scholars, researchers, critics and the general public,” he added.
